Welcome to the Château d’Amboise, a sublime Renaissance royal residence located in Indre-et-Loire . This palace is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful castles of the Loire with its refined architecture and its hanging gardens. There is no doubt that François 1er took advantage, in his time, of the panorama… just like Leonardo da Vinci who spent the last three years of his life at the castle. After the Chocolate Museum, we suggest you visit the Toy Museum, located in Colmar . Opened around thirty years ago, this Alsatian site offers collections of period and contemporary toys . Puzzles, toy soldiers, rocking horses and puppets rub shoulders with board games, electric toys and lovely porcelain dolls.
Housed in a former neighborhood cinema, the Colmar Toy Museum will amaze young and old alike. The variety of exhibits presented and the quality of the temporary exhibitions have something to do with it. We will even note, on the top floor, a network of trains that runs through the entire level!
