France, the largest country in the European Union

France is the largest country in the European Union and one of the most populous countries in Europe. Thanks to its size, it really offers a lot. To the east are the high Alpine peaks with Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc, sloping freely to the Côte d’Azur in Provence. Places for wonderful swimming gradually transition to the Occitania area, where it blows over 300 days a year and is therefore suitable for windsurfing and kiteboarding. In the south, France is separated from Spain by the jagged peaks of the Pyrenees, and in the west it is washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the Bay of Biscay.

The wild waves subside and the coast becomes shallower to the north. The tides create impressive bays, one of which is dominated by the famous island of Mont-Saint-Michel. The weather here is dark and overall Brittany resembles England. Even further north is Normandy, where you will be fascinated by the places where history was rewritten.

We must not forget Paris, which is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. Overall, there is an awful lot to see in France, from high mountains, to wonderful swimming in the sea and ocean, to amazing cities, museums and historical buildings. One life is definitely not enough to know all of France!
